WYD Pride — Augmented reality maps app for the LGBT community

“ Hi everyone - I created WYD Pride because I wanted to create a LGBT-focused maps app that would give members of the LGBTQIA community one-touch access to locating gay-friendly places nearby. In honor of pride month, I thought it would be fun for people to be able to visualize their city using the rainbow emoji. I think this will be incredibly useful for people who may be unfamiliar with their gayborhood or certain cities where gay venues are not as well known. Simply drag the map to any area in the U.S and tapping the rainbow icon will show you the nearest gay-friendly places. 50% of all proceeds are being donated to select charity organizations. I hope you like it! ”

The DJ — A Black Mirror inspired app that rewards long relationships.

“ Hey PH! With the DJ I wanted to see how far I could push the concept of expiring relationships by applying them to conversations specifically (I'm also the guy that made the other black mirror app: rateME). Users are rewarded for taking their time to talk to their match as the longer they talk to them, the more that is revealed to them. I use AI to help the DJ in making decisions based on how the conversation goes. All messages are encrypted and analyzed client side as far as privacy and security goes.
