I’ve been obsessively learning about these bikes since I backed the project, so I bet I can answer some of your questions. Some FAQs I’ve seen: Can I have it now? * No. It’s an Indiegogo project that's fully funded ($550k currently) and they anticipate shipping the bikes in September. Is it street legal? * Yes, in most states, as long as you ride under 20-25mph. Both bikes have limiter switches that keep the bike in legal range. Do I need a license to ride these? * In most states, no. Both bikes are limited to 750 watts, or 125/50cc, which disqualifies them from official classification as motorcycles. Tell me about the two models. * The RCR: 75mi max range, 60mph top speed, $2600 preorder. And the CTY: 40mi max range, 30mph top speed, $1875 preorder. “ AMC and MoviePass have had some beef over the past year. Interesting to see AMC rolling out its own competitor. While it's a little more expensive, it doesn't have blackout dates and includes some concession perks. Curious to hear from people that use MoviePass.
